2. You need Dead Alive up there
And Blade Runner is not a cult film. Its a classic anyway you cut it.

9. I did think about putting Dead Alive in there
I decided not to since there was already one zombie film on the list.

17. Braindead
To the non-US movie watchers, Dead Alive is the film we know
as Braindead. And yes, I would have voted for that too. As it
is, Eraserhead gets my vote.

4. What?!?!?! Where's "Parents"?? Nothing like family cannibalism
"Mom, what are we eating?"

"They're leftovers, honey"

(pause)

"Well, what were they before they were leftovers?"

"Oh, well honey, I guess they were leftovers-to-be"

No, they were the limbs of your son's freakin' school psychologist, who didn't believe his little 'stories' about his parents.

Go baby, go!

13. I'm with you.
I think it has a better soundtrack than The Sound of Music, too.

7. Where's Office Space?
"I didn't get any cake..."

"We've noticed you seem to be missing a lot of work lately, Peter."

"I wouldn't say I've been MISSING it, Bob."

10. "Barbarella" or "Head"
Barbarella is just too sexy.

Head makes plenty of yet makes no sense, but that's the point of it...

15. Harold and Maude and Rushmore are my two favorites....
But we're forgetting movies that were mega-broadcasted on HBO and cinemax in the 80's which unwittingly became cult films, like Just One of the Guys, Beastmaster, Heart Like a Wheel, y'know sleeper films that only reached their audience through cable and sat. afternoon network showings.

Oh! And TV movies, like "Desperate Lives", starring Diana Scarwid (schoolteacher combats early-eighties mad drug use, this is a CLASSIC!).
Sarah T, portrait of a teenage alcoholic, etc.

18. Chris Shaw's film 'Split' (1990)
'Semi-robotic humanoids manipulate every action of people on Earth. One man has the power to break the barrier between the worlds. He is the embodiment of chaos and the authoritarians want him stopped. For he alone sees the truth which will destroy their world.'

We would have a larger cult following if our members didn't keep disappearing....
