Hip hip hooray! I do not have
cervical cancer!!!!!

Had two of those distressing "Atypical Cells of Undetermined Significance" results. Had to have a special exam by the doc, who says "yeah, there's nothing wrong there"

I guess that is overwhelmingly the case with these "undetermined significance" diagnoses (especially when HPV negative) but if there's a way to un-nerve someone, tell them there's something not right, but that it's "undetermined".


Anyway....

15. Great news - I note that you are HPV negative, but would you care
to comment about all the people who say the HPV vaccine isn't needed because cervical cancer is no big deal?

I do not imagine any kind of cancer is "no big deal"

Whether or not to be vaccinated is a discussion for every woman and her doctor.
