Worcester, MA natives
I need some help. Dropping my son and some of his friends at the Palliadum in Worcester for a concert Saturday night and am looking for somewhere nearby that I can hang out at and maybe have a drink and watch the ballgame. Any ideas of places near there?

1. You might also ask this in the MA forum:

Alternately, look up the Palladium online. Many times they will note what places are nearby for entertainment and eating :)

2. Worcester native, but haven't lived there since '91.
What's the Palliadum? Is that near the Centrum?

3. I think Millie is near there
I lived by Clark ages ago, but that was back before the Palladium was open.

9. I've never been to the Irish Times
There is a sports bar right near the DCU Center (I think it's on the south side of it) but I don't know the name of it.

I have a friend who tends bar at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It's a nice lounge, and yes it does have a TV so the Sox game will likely be on.

4. You could come hang with us
We're about half an hour away...

But seriously, Worcester is a treasure trove of restaurants and pubs. (Just cruise the restaurants - they're all fabulous!)

Right nearby is the Irish Times Pub, Fiddler Green, Moynagh's Tavern, Ralph's Tavern, Blackstone Tap...

A couple of better pubs nearby would be:

Mahoney's Pub (1.5 mi)
413 Park Ave Worcester, MA 01610

Brew City Grill & Brew House (.5 mi) ------------------------------> my recommendation
104 Shrewsbury St, Worcester, MA

Have fun!

Seriously, if you do want to come for some home cooking, can't promise a ball game since we're kind of artsy-fartsy dems, not really sports fans, and you're not afraid a scardy-dog with a big mouth, you'd be welcome here. :)
