I should go to Pittsburgh for dinner tonight
cuz no one is there, and restaurants may cut me a deal if they are open.

This is hysterical.

What "protests" I see don't really seem like protests they freaked out people like they do when there is a snow storm.

Pittsburgh is a nice place, a great city and our people are friendly.

2. apparently rubber bullets and tear gas were fired near Ritter's Diner
on Baum - hard to believe.

They are arresting people in Lawrenceville near the Strip DIstrict - but there aren't that many protestors there, more media and police, really.

3. more police than protestors
and loads of gawkers looking for something to happen but nothings happening.

I watched a bit of news and one camera man was "afraid" so he was moving away while another reporter from another station remained
too funny!

5. my memories of Ritters are sporadic as I was typically intoxicated and it was past 2am
a great place for students to have that snack after a lot of beer.

6. fave place for my band to go after a gig- and evaluate how loaded other
folks seemed to be - back in the day when I was out that late. Pretty rare for me these days! :D
