I'm sitting in the bedroom with laptop on lap, an iMac running on the desk, blackberry by side, and an iPod touch within reach. I think I've become a slave to this stuff.
1. think of it this way, if the worst happened could you stand up and walk out of your house and walk
say 50 miles without taking some of that stuff with you, how long could you go living without it all, if not long then yes you are a slave to it. It pays you back though by giving you information and keeping you in touch so its a trade off....
4. most important thing you will ever learn is that if you cant carry it with you then its not importan
i learned as a kid that being able to travel light and fast was more important than having lots of stuff, lol though now i would need my truck and trailer and my boat dragged behind it to carry all the stuff my wife would want..
But if you ever wake up to find all your machines close to one another and you don't remember leaving them there, it's time to break out the sledgehammer because those suckers are plotting against you. If you just sit back and do nothing, you'll probably be assimilated within hours.
8. Oh good. The voice of William Daniels will permeate Time itself.
First HAL and then KITT...
And Dave probably asked for a virtual blow-job, so I can't blame HAL for not necessarily not complying... Gary Lockwood was better as Gary Mitchell... :D
