I would like to apologize to the LGBTQ members of DU. I am ashamed...
I spilled chocolate milk all over my badass armchair and grabbed a shirt to clean it up before it seeped in.

I didn't realize, until it was too late, that it was my "Gay? fine by me" ASU LBGTQ coalition shirt.

:-(

1. Soak it in cold water
When you launder it (when you finally get around to it in a few months), wash it cold and hang it dry. Repeat if there's any of the stain still visible.

2. Your biggest gay fail was that you though you could get chocolate milk out of a chair with a tshirt!

Have we taught you nothing about stain removal?

5. i thought that was a generic/vulgar term for gay & lesbian...?
wouldn't adding "queer" to the list be redundant?

8. and what, pray tell, is "queer and questioning"..?
it sounds more like a state of emotional weakness than an actual condition by birth represented by being gay or transgendered.

9. Two terms, not one.

Queer-outside mainstream gender/sexuality paradigms, sometimes representing the rejection of gender binary...for example, Genderfuck, Androgyny, Hijra or Queer Heterosexual. (I don't like using Wikipedia, but it was difficult to find neutral information that wasn't going to raise more questions than it answers or delve into the various controversies and fights over these terms. Gender theory is a very personally-held and thus contentious subject...there are more issues there than I can explain succinctly.) Someone smarter than me once said that there aren't two sexes, there are as many sexes as there are individuals...that person is very smart it seems to me. (Also, read this: Queer, it sums it up better than I can, including the question of whether the term "queer" is offensive. (potentially and to some people))

Questioning - figuring out where one lies in all this in terms of one's gender, sexual identity or sexual orientation.

Edit: Cleaned up my code-soup.
