Help. I disabled "images" and can't get them back. Ideas? Is it bec. I'm on a Mac?

I checked a post, it had about 10 rows of the icon of the guy on the floor laughing and kicking his legs. I'm on a new computer (Mac) and couldn't read the message, only got the icons. So I right clicked and pressed (I think) "disable images" or "disable icons". Now, when I view the home page I can't see the picture of the video. And I've lost the "red hot burning thread" graphic. I tried "options" above but I think I did it on my Mac so is it a Mac function? Yes, I right clicked again and I don't see anything that would undo my mistake...just cut and paste and delete and stuff like that.

I'm not sure I'm loving the switch over to a Mac. Maybe I just need to get used to it. Words of encouragement accepted but don't tell me --yet--that I made a big mistake!

if you go to the "Firefox" menu and choose "Preferences..." then click on the "Content" icon and see if "Load images automatically" is checked or not. If it is not checked, check it, then click on the red circle to close that window. That may or may not help. Sometimes Firefox just kind of chokes and not all the images load, or pages don't load completely. And if you look at many pages in one session, that use the same images, and an image never loaded properly, it probably won't show up on any of those pages during that session. Another thing you might try is clearing out your cache. That will force the program to reload all images and that may fix the problem. Go to Firefox -> "Preferences..." again, but this time click on the "Privacy" icon, then click on the "Clear now" button on the lower right of that window, then just make sure only "Cache" is checked in the list that appears, and then click on "Clear Private Data Now." Then quit Firefox and restart it again. Then Firefox will have to reload all images and the ones that were missing should show up then. If this still doesn't fix your problem, then I would suggest maybe looking at these pages and possibly posting your question at a Firefox forum:

3. Go back to that thread and

left click on the image. It will let you undo what you did. Look for unblock images.

Oops! You're on a mac so I don't know what the equivalent of a left click is for that.
