My undergrad degree is from another football school, not to the degree that OU is, but still, footballish in a private school kind of way, and they wouldn't stand for that one.

6. Athletic departments are a world unto themselves...

with no control exerted over them by administrations, and way too much money to spend. They house, clothe, feed, train, and use the athletes in seclusion, with no interaction with the general university. They now feel that every second of every game must be filled with sound and image, hence "prairie wind touches our skin."
