Please tell me - Who is your favorite PEANUTS character?

for me it is Schroeder - I always liked how Charlie Brown loved baseball and Schroeder was his catcher. I had a Schroeder piggy bank when I was a kid.

13. I'd have to say Snoopy. I had a poly sci prof in college

who went on about what all the Peanuts characters represented.

One of my favorite Peanuts' strips was Linus saying to Snoopy, "I would think it would be boring sitting on top of your doghouse all day".

Snoopy replies, "On the contrary, who could be bored...

sitting at the controls of the Starship Enterprise?"

I always thought there should have been a simple, one-panel final Peanuts strip after Charles Schultz died of all the gang around a grave sight, just standing there and not saying anything.

and i came up in the 80s reading my dad's old peanuts books from the 60s and 70s (great stuff)...

Because of Peanuts, as a kid I:

Knew in nauseating detail about who Beethoven was (even wrote a report on him)

Got into baseball, but not as a pitcher

Begged my parents and finally got a dog (beagle was of course my first choice but i got overruled)...Sadly our dog was an inside dog with no cool house in the back

Wanted to be a spelling bee winner

Wanted to set up a psychology stand (parents talked me out of it)

Snatched the football from friends running to kick it

and call this creepy if you want, but i actually had my own security blanket with a multitude of uses (and for a time, i took it EVERYWHERE until my parents "accidentally" left it in a hotel while we were on vacation)...

And the character I related to the most was Charlie Brown, but my favorite was Snoopy and Woodstock
