Issued March 14, 1983 on the 12" maxi-EP for "Sample And Hold" on Geffen 0-20105.

In addition to the original Buffalo Springfield rendition, there are four versions of this Neil Young solo re-recording. On the "Trans" LP, it runs 3:16. On the single Geffen 92 97077, it appears in Parts 1 (3:38) and 2 (5:00). It didn't get its own 12", but it did appear on the "Sample And Hold" maxi single, in this extended mix with even more differences from the other three. None of Neil's singles from this period charted. If you wanted his single records, you had to buy them when they were new, or go a very long time without one until a copy showed up on the collector's market, for quite a bit more than they were originally charging!

I have not provided a scan of this record's label, because it's so rare that I do not intend to ever take it out of its sleeve again, nor would I be willing to lay it on the scanner.
