I've noticed recently I do, maybe it's cause I'm in a small town and people get married earlier. Or maybe I'm getting to that age. I'm just 24.......

How old were you?

24.

Haven't found one.

Never will.

I expect to be dead in 5 years anyway (which'll make a great answer to an interview question too!)

8. 23..........early.....back when.....ring was from "Jade Panther" in
Greenwich Village, NYC...hand made gold ring with flowers. I hate diamonds but love all other jewelry that's "natural" and have lots of jewelry of the "natural kind" because that's my vice....:-( or :-)'s depending on what your "vice" is....

after two divorces and a cheating fiance' I really think the best position to have is the mistress.

11. After I got married...
...(and, to be more specific, after that marriage came to an end, which would have made me around 26).

12. I was 86 years old and even though I was a bit too young to commit...

I was a wild and reckless and a head strong kind of guy...way back then...some regets, of course...but mostly just merories of hot nasty sex...she was only 22 but seemed like she was 26...it was fun and romantic for about ten years...of course I got bored and had to move on and find myself. But I'll always have fond memories of "Sunshine".

Can't recall exactly. What I do remember is that the older I got, the more wedding rings I encountered! :grr:

14. many many many
years ago. :P

So many I don't specifically recall.

early twenties I think. It's probably a good habit. Though on a couple occasions I asked out women who were married, but didn't wear rings for whatever reason. It was a little awkward the first time, but I decided it's still complimentary to her, and if they didn't have a ring, I shouldn't be thought a cad for not knowing they were married.

15. not until I hit my forties
I never thought about it before then. I wonder if people are getting married earlier these days than they were when I was younger: it seems that I see wedding rings on almost everyone (especially men), even those in their twenties!

16. Wealthy widows are always good...
No, no, I didn't say that...

One of the saddest days in my life was when a woman I was dating told me she was married but she was pretty sure she would be getting a divorce.

It was horrible because I thought we knew each other better than that.

If she'd told me right from the start that she was separated and thinking about divorce I don't know what I would have done, but somehow the fact she hadn't told me was worse for both of us once she felt she had to.

My heart still hurts when I think about that. We were both crying, and I watched her leave. Then I walked around aimlessly for a few hours because I didn't trust myself to drive.

I was a little older than you are now.

A few years later I found True Love, so I don't think much about those "might have beens" anymore, but sometimes I still dream about her.

Basically looking at something similar to this with an all platinum ring/base, with a white sapphire in the middle in place of the diamond.
