He is now over 10lbs and growing like a weed. He's hell on four paws and just as cute as a button. Smart too! He can 'sit', 'shake a paw' and 'speak' when asked to.

1. PUPPY!!!!

3. Rogue's doing pretty good. He's ornery and has swiped

at Kane a couple of times. He doesn't like being sat on though hehe. They are learning to co-exist I hope. The other two, blackie and rascal look at Kane and hiss. They're not impressed but then, they aren't very sociable to start with. I think they'll just stay away from him.

The Den is Kane's room. It's fenced off so he can't get out to terrorize the place :) He's happy there and we have 2 acres for him to run in. (fenced yard).

Hopefully we'll all live in peace :)

8. Rogue is a really handsome cat. We have 2 others

a tuxedo and a black one. Not sure how the other two will take to Kane, but for now they just aren't interested. You should post a pic of your Baby :)

7. Definitely a cutie.

The poor cat had better of already set boundaries, because that puppy looks like it'll shortly be twice again as big! :)

9. Rogue is such a sweetheart. Rascal, our tuxedo cat

thinks Rogue is his mother. Rogue will only put up with so much though and isn't above striking out with claw intact paws!

So far so good. I'm trying to encourage gentle behaviour. Kane is SO rambunctious though. I'm afraid Rogue is going to put him in his place and he won't like it.
Kane will probably weigh in at about 75+ lbs when he's grown. He's part Norwegian Elkhound and part Chow.

10. How big will he get?

11. The vet says somewhere between 65 and 75lbs ..

hard to say I guess. Norwegian Elkhounds and Chows are both fair size dogs. We're hoping big. He'll be formidable at any size though I think. He's a tough guy, or at least he thinks he is :)


Information site says Elkhounds go about 21-24 Inches and 60lbs
Chows go about 24 Inches and 70-80lbs

21. oh my god

so cute! My puppy is all grown up now. She didn't turn out to be big like I thought she would. I was sooo disappointed! I lost my 100lb dog to cancer a couple of years ago and was just set on the idea of having another big dog like her.

But little (50lb) Sophie makes up for her size in so many other ways. I adore her and am so happy to have her.

I have a feeling Kane is going to be pretty big...those legs! haha, so so cute, Enjoy him :)
