How do you wash a canvas luggage bag?
It's not huge, but it's a bit bigger than a carry-on. I've got hard-water stains on it and it just generally needs a wash. Do you think I can dry-clean it?

1. My dear lildreamer...
I would take it by my favorite dry cleaners and see what they say...

I'd expect they could dry clean it...

Or maybe they have the facilities to wash it...

2. I hope so.
It's the perfect bag for my needs, but I've had it forever and it really needs a good once-over.
I gotta go by the cleaners anyway, so I think I'll ask.

3. Tie it to the roof rack and go through a car wash.
Or drape it over a saw horse right before a good thunderstorm.

4. You could try carpet spot remover on it, perhaps
If your drycleaner doesn't want to take it.

5. If it is canvas it can be washed in a regular clothes washer in cold water and air dryed.
