According to The Washington Post, the ditzy star of MTV's hit reality show "Newlyweds" found herself face to face with Cabinet official Gale Norton during a White House tour on Sunday. When Simpson was introduced to President Bush's Secretary of the Interior, she eagerly told Norton: "You've done a nice job decorating the White House."

Now she's milking this dumb act thing for all its worth. Thing is, most people know its an act and just play along. People love dumb blondes and always have. Marilyn Monroe for instance was no dummy either; her friends have said so - she was a completely diff person in private. Same for Jessica Simpson. One reason the dumb blonde act works is because men find it very sexy. You have a beautiful woman who can be easily manipulated and seemingly 'gettable' for any average Joe. Im not sure how women react. But she's funny too. Its the 'hook' that keeps people watching her show, so she's gotta keep it up.
