What is "Ted"?
I keep hearing people talking about reading the Ted and have no clue what that means. I went to Ted.com -- is that it?

I can attest that it was a bad idea in the first place, it got reincorporated earlier this year.

I stand corrected. I guess it's not the airline... just went to ted.com and that's not what I thought it was at all..... oh well....

Technology,Engineering and Design-a lot of really interesting stuff.
Lectures and presentations by experts in different field, music, comedy. Pretty cool.

It is a conference of the most brilliant minds congregating to share ideas. This an invited event, used to be closed the public but now they take the most inspiring lectures and post them on their website at ted.com to be watched in streaming format.
