One of the things that really surprised me when I moved to Columbus was the music scene. I'm not sure why but I expected it would not be very good and man... was I wrong. Columbus has a wicked good music scene, the number of really good local bands is amazing. Last night I caught one of my favorites, Answer:42. If your ever in or happen to live in Columbus, I suggest you try to catch one of their shows. Live, they do a lot of covers and usually only a few of their original tunes... I'm not sure why because their original stuff is pretty damn good. The interaction between the singer and the lead guitarist during shows is always a lot of laughs as well. Plus, they usually give out free copies of their self made album "...maybe september" (recorded at Sonic Lounge Studios, here in Ohio) that is a pretty rocking album.
