So, I came home...

Just subscribed to a new poetry magazine...

And decided to settle down here and see what all you good folk are up to tonight...

I hope nothing you wanted to do tonight got stopped in its tracks!

:hi:

3. My dear Iggo!
Trust me, sweetie!

We talk plenty loud, the experienced folk, anyway!

But without lights etc, it is difficult ..

5. Should have had some flashlights.
Then the people in the front row could have shown them on you!

That's a bummer, though. Hope the next time goes better.

7. My dear SeattleGirl!
Well, we could have done it with flashlights...

But the coffee house would have had trouble blending their fancy drinks without power!

I've been going there for about a year and a half now, and this is the first time this has happened...

The whole block was out...

Who knew?

I'm sure it'll be fine next week!

8. That would have been difficult!
Wonder if a transformer went out, though they usually take out a larger area when they blow.

13. Peggy
Have you considered joining the local Toastmasters Club? If so, you could pick up tips on what to do when you are supposed to speak and something goes wrong......

14. My dear Dyedinthewoolliberal...
Nah...I have no problem doing public speaking!

I think most folks would have problems speaking in a room w/out electricity!

There was no open mic...we all went home...
