13. On election night I was at my local Dem HQ watching the returns

with about 50 or so other locals. There was beer and food. Champagne when they announced Obama won. I kind of sucked that NC wasn't called that night. We stayed until about midnight and had fun anyway.

Unfortunately my county is still red but I am so happy that NC turned blue.

And yay for VA - I used to live in VA Bch. 5th - 10th grade. 1973-1979. I spent many summers there with relatives and friends even after I moved to Maryland in 1980.

14. Election night was a nail-biter.

TokenQueer and I spent the whole day together. There were anomalies in his district....we were on pins and needles (and Vicodin) all day... much celebrating at the end, to be sure. Then a couple of days later, your state kicked in...Jebus, good times...
