1. Yeah, and people in hell
want icewater......

A former relative by (bad) marriage used to say stuff like that a lot.

2. I walk around in the summertime saying, 'how about this heat?'
But mostly it was another in a long series of weather-nerd posts. It just caught my eye that the feels like temperature was actually less than the actual temperature due to the incredibly low relative humidity. I'd never seen that happen around here when it's in the mid nineties. Eighties and lower, sure.

5. I watch the weather all the time - I live in South East PA, and right now
the temp is around 86, but the humidity is so high it feels like you are breathing soup. I just showered 10 minutes ago, and I could use another one right now. I don't think I would like places that are very much hotter than here - I'm ready for late October already.

My sis and BIL live in South Texas (League City) and are always after me to move there, but I doubt I would like it just because of the heat.

6. We seldom get that level of humidity
I lived in Ohio for a summer and that was brutal.

3. Around here 93.2° would be considered a cold front.

4. Well, you probably didn't get ten feet of snow last winter
so there's that.

7. The humidity makes a huge difference. It really does.
Our temps are usually around 95ish, but with the humidity, it feels over 100. And it is a sticky hot. Takes your breath away.

8. Yeah but there's no way I would trade high humidity for tinderbox dry conditions

I see how SoCal burns every single year and wouldn't want to live like that. No thanks, I'll take my humidity. At least it keeps things green.

9. I don't want any fire for sure. I can handle the heat. I use the AC.
Just saying that it does make a difference. But yeah, I like the trees to stay green too.
