Lots of school cancellations and slippery roads, but it wasn't as bad as they predicted-what else is new. :eyes:

5. Your neighbors must love you
being woken by a 6 AM blast! I think it will melt this weekend-warm temps on Saturday and rain on Sunday should take care of it!

7. Not so bad here in Hartford.
I was up at 5:30 expecting the worst, and we were done in 45 mins. Only a couple maybe three inches.

10. Are you an amateur 'weather-watcher'?
or was your prediction based on the tendency for our local weather harpies always calling for way more snow than we ever get?

11. About 3 or 4 inches in central Connecticut
I we didn't have to shovel at all. Our 8 and 12 year olds had a school delay and asked, "can we go out and shovel?" Um, of course! :7 They did a great job too. Having kids sometimes has its benefits.

13. Hubby took out the snowblower
for the first time this winter. At 6am, too -- the neighbors must love him! We got about 3-4 inches. I hope it's gone quickly.
