DU Fishermen - Let's just say I love fishing
Recently, Taverner, Tavernerboy and Tavernerwife went on a vacation to Diamond Lake, Oregon. Had a great time. Went fishing. Loved it. Went on a guided fishing charter. I have no clue what I'm doing.

BUT I loved it. Especially the bounty afterwards.

So, me, Taverner in the Bay Area - how can I fish without being a crazy gearhead, but catch something I can eat?

Any ideas??

1. I fish out at my Dads mostly anymore
Small mouth bass, sun fish and catfish. Years ago I used to do a lot of ocean fishing, down the Hudson and out, blues and fluke... I don't go out on the ocean anymore, so just lake fishing for me.

I have no idea what to tell you... Fishing is something much better shown rather then explained in a post... I'd probably just get a hook in your eye :(
