I too am a Finn Fan...been hooked on Split Enz since Day One; morphed into a Crowded House fan and have been a huge fan of Neil's solo stuff since CH disbanded in 1994.
I appreciate his way with a melody, dammit, one that you can sing, or hum, or 'Try Whistling This....' and I find his lyrics really intriguing and effective and not the usual trite Hallmark Greeting Card verse shit, or hateful bad poetry, or whatever...

So how about you, fellow Finn fans? What do you like about our buddy Neil??

3. He's best live

really relaxed & intimate. always interacts w the crowd & plays with a hellova backup band. and after the set he sticks around & takes requests, etc. from the audience - thrown at him by paper airplane.
