It's been a bad day for ballplayers with heads

This afternoon, the Mets' David Wright took a Matt Cain fast ball on the helmet. He was down for several minutes, then walked off the field with help from the trainer. Later, he was taken to hospital for a CT scan, which was negative, but doctors said Wright had a concussion and will stay in hospital overnight.

About an hour ago, Dodgers pitcher Hiroki Kuroda was hit in the head by a line drive by some Snakes rook. He was taken off the field strapped to a gurney and was taken to a Phoenix hospital. Reports so far say Kuroda didn't lose consciousness and there was no bleeding.

After it hit Kuroda, the ball landed by the Snakes' dugout.

3. A guy JUST now got beaned during the Red Sox/Rangers game.

Forgot the name already, but he plays for Texas. Right at the base of the helmet in the back. I was really worried for the guy.
