2. By OKing that garbage as the theme song,...
...somebody made the decision to cockpunch the show's core audience in the first five minutes of the pilot.

If there's any justice, that person is now fetching coffee for an asshole.

3. I agree.
I think better casting would have helped as well. Bakula wasn't a bad captain, but the rest of the cast just didn't seem to have the same chemistry as the other ST shows.

4. I admitted that a long time ago.
Babylon 5, fifth season has the best opening music of the series :D

And I absolutely loved the music for Crusade. That should ostracize me further from the syfy groups around here :P

5. Great song, with perfect lyrics...
...performed as though it were a goddamned beer commercial. x(

There's just a touch of the acoustic guitar that should be driving the song. It should have been sung by Scott Bakula (whether or not he's a good singer) or someone not apparently connected to the beer industry, backed only with that guitar. They should have christened the ship something other than Enterprise--didn't they trust us? And the series shouldn't have had Star Trek in its name; the show should have been called Prime Directive, because that was the elephant in the briefing room through nearly every fucking episode.

6. That's why I have only seen the first 5 minutes of all the Enterprise episodes.
As soon as that puky song came on, I switched off for good. :puke:

9. I would argue that the Friends theme is actually worse
But the Enterprise theme is undeniably wretched.
