Tempe is going through quite a lightning storm...
A couple hours ago, I almost crashed on the 101 because it was flooded. One second I was going 75 on a completely dry roadway. The next I was digging into a river of water.

Now lightning is striking so close that I cannot hear the echo and there is no lag time between the flash and bang. It's just one giant explosion. Must have struck an electrical box nearby because the house keeps losing power every few minutes.

My house is about 2 miles from the center of a very powerful cell.


Lets hope I don't open the front door to this...
