Heard on the news tonight that Unemployment in my county is at 15%

How are things in your county?

1. 12.6% according to the local mullet wrapper.

Mostly construction workers, but also some people involved in real estate one way or another.

2. 7% as of June 2009. The Triangle area of NC is doing better

than state average. We have UNC-Chapel Hill and the UNC Hospitals as large employers: Town of Chapel Hill and Town of Carrboro which are fairly stable employers.

3. 13.6% In Riverside County, CA

It would seem we are doing better than I had feared. Though it has gone up 10% in the last 13 months.

4. do not know the stats, but i know people who hav lost jobs in this past week

so we ain't there yet....
