WTH???!!! Purple Drank - things I learn reseaching the prescription drugs I just got.
I've been fighting a really bad case of bronchitis and of course I was prescribed some stuff to help clean up the mess including Codeine Cough Syrup. This stuff clears out my congestion and I sleep like a baby but I only take it at night and then only about 1 tsp at a time.

So last night I was bored and I looked up that prescription along with my antibiotic. And the top find for the cough medicine - Purple Drank: A popular drink that is a combination of Codeine Cough Syrup, Sprite and Jolly Ranchers

Who the *#)@ thinks up this stuff?

5. See, I should've read on, instead of just the title of your OP.
I thought you were referring to this: http://www.drankbeverage.com/

Not the concoction on which it is based.

4. Actually, hip-hop DJs.
Drank is from the Houston hip-hop scene, from whence we got the god-awful chopped-and-screwed sound that supplanted crunk a couple years back.

6. Reminded me of robo-tripping from college.
Never did it to see if it actually worked, but knew people dumb enough to try it.
