All those homemade methods of keeping bugs out of your house - FAIL!!!

Terminix is coming in to save the day. Their stuff is suppose to be safe for pets but even still, I'll move all my cat supplies upstairs. I did ask that they not destroy any outside cobwebs. Spiders are our friends and kill other bad insects.

2. what kinds of bugs are causing you problems...?
Termites, roaches, fleas, wood-boring beetles in structures-- exterminators aren't much good for other problems. Wazzup?

4. yup, regular visits from Mr. Exterminator are probably your best bet....
The cockroach is a noble beast. But unfortunately prolific.

5. Seriously
It's amazing their resilience and you just need one to survive in order for the re-population to begin.

After the annihilation of this planet, the survivors will probably be the roaches.

7. I hate those things more than I've hated anything in my life.
I grew up in a walkup in Manattan and I spent 22 years battling those things, hearing their crunches, watching their wings splay when I squished them. And their goddamn egg sacks. I hate them more than Bush.

10. Geckos
We have about a hundred geckos living and breeding in and around our house. Since they showed up the roaches, carpenter ants, leaf-cutter ants and even the fire ants disappeared. Even those little piss ants are gone. But we have lots of fat geckos and I've found the eggshells where they hatched in a couple of places.

11. I use to have geckos in college - I wouldn't mind unleashing them in my house
and the cats would keep the geckos count down in size.

6. For the first time ever I have ants!
They've been here all summer. What a fucking nuisance they are! I've tried keeping things extra extra clean, used vinegar, sealed cracks etc etc, they still came back.

So finally I bought some seven for outside around the foundations and I got an inside killer too. I just put it all down last night and today I've only seen a few ants.

Here's to hoping they DIE for good this time.

8. Minor quibble: Spiders are arachnids, not insects
thus, they don't kill "other" bad insects.
