I say it even if I'm alone in the dark. Must have been some early and effective brainwashing.

3. I've been known to show off and say "Kihe, a mauliola".
"Sneeze, and have a long life."

4. I say "pardon me"
and I try very hard not to sneeze in public. What does that say about my brainwashing?

5. OMG this is a biggie for me!!!!
Not only do I say excuse me, but I get somewhat peeved if someone says, "Bless you" after I've sneezed.

Or if they expect me to say it to them.

"Bless you"???

For what? For spewing 67 squillion fucking germs into the air at 90 MPH?

Or I'll see store clerks sneeze into their hands, then go digging in the cash register to give change. EEEEWWWWWwwwww!

I sneeze into the crook of my elbow. If I'm really desperate not to sneeze, I just pinch my upper lip (thumb on the inside, index finger on the outside) right under my nose till the urge passes. It really does work.

7. I only say that if I fart in public.
If I sneeze, you're on your own to duck the globules.

8. Farts will sometimes sneak out along with a sneeze.
So if that happens to you, and you say "excuse me", does that mean it is only applicable to the farting part?

10. In that case I say Excuse Me and point to the person nearest me.
