Has anyone watched the "Outerlimits" episode "The Camp"

I would guess people think on the film differently, these are some of my thoughts on such an interesting episode.

It tells an interesting tale, it speaks of systems, and how they have limitations. It also mentions some of the talking points of some systems today. When watching the episode, I think of JFK RFK and MLK and the many billions of other people that have struggled in society. As always I don't believe in violence and see that only as a metaphor.

But like all things, it has some things I agree with, and some that I don't. For instance the whole alien thing seems to be more of an attempt for a few people to create an illusionary enemy that is beyond ability to contest. In my view, if you believe in aliens, then it would be healthy to also believe in aliens that believe in compassion love and justice for all people.

It also has robot metaphor, but I think of robot metaphor in the case of this film as people that just follow and don't think or care, those that just follow scripts.

Although I think it is more a spiritual situation and is not about aliens or robots in real life.

The show also speaks of people that keep doing the same thing because it is all they know, or people that act with scripts and no feeling. And how those people use fear and threats of hardships, like no food, to try and keep people making deals with what is wrong.

The show also has the idea where some would rather destroy then see what they think, or their way not done. Something some threaten to do, and if people live by those values then they have little claim to run anything.
