11. I never understood the "waving-flag-proves-the-hoax" thing.

I read about the moon landings when I was about seven years old. This would be about 1975, only three years after Apollo 17. The caption accompanying the photo of the flag ceremony said that the flag was stiffened with wires and a rod to simulate waving since there is no wind, or air even, on the moon. As a seven year-old I grasped the concept! Why is it so hard for these idjits?
