I have a thing for bad (or semi-bad) guys. I had a crush on Darth Vader when I was a young girl.

Nothing, but nothing, beats my love for Alan Rickman. In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, he looks amazing.

Yummy! :9

They did show a snippet of him with Tonks calling him "sweetheart" - that's all the time that relationship got onscreen. I feel so robbed!

In the 6th book where he was worried about being with Tonks because of what he was, I almost cried!

I espcially loved him in "Restoration". He is skinny, pasty, has bad teeth, and a prominent overbite, but damned he has charisma and is dead sexy The Brits seem to be able to get away with that sort of thing more esily than American actors..

:loveya: The man just sends shivers down my spine when he speaks. "Truly, Madly, Deeply", the Sheriff of Nottingham, "Sense and Sensibility" -- be still my beating heart. :loveya:

He is perfection as Snape -- he was born to play that role.

He worked on the post production of his film with Emma Thompson and her Mom (Ice something?) at the same facility my friends works in. Jim saw him several times there and said he looked squishy and pasty, with bad teeth. :D I told Jim "I DON'T CARE I love him!"

Ah, his teeth. That is a msytery I am fascinated with -- why he finally chose to get his teeth fixed at his age. He went for so very long with bad teeth, bad caps and those wildly crooked bottom teeth. When he showed up in in HP and "Love, Actually" with the new choppers I almost feel out of my chair.

Has anyone else seen some of his more obscure films, like the one with Madelaine Stowe where she is a political prisoner and he plays her interogator? Or remember his supporting role as an artist with Kevin Klein and Mary Elizabeth Whatsherface(rest of name I can't spell) in that comedy/mystery? Or his nekkid scene in "An Awfully Big Adventure"?

77. Here's Alan in tights and a codpiece, for those who need it
He's about 30 years younger, too (doesn't come in until 4:27):

And, of course, that sexy voice reading Shakespeare:

After watching that R&J scene, I realize how much he's improved with age. Yum.

82. Kicking & checking in as an AR fan as well. Fell in love with
him in "Sense & Sensibility."

Then, when I saw the first HP movie, I didn't recognize him, but I had the hots for Snape for some reason. When I finally figured out it was him, it all made sense!

:dunce:
