"The Colt"

I was born
For somewhere else
It's in the bond
Of my bones
My mother spoke it
On a night with lightening

I think of it now
As I waste my time
In a tilting haze
And try to mean something

Come morning
I go
I change clothes
And imagine
The dance continues
And the mirror
Is mine
