3. SKOR.
I like to break them in half and slowly suck all of the chocolate off of the toffee. Or, I like to scrape all of the chocolate off with my teeth then suck on the toffee. They don't seem to be as good nowadays though.

8. heath bar or skor
Love that toffee. Most of your list I can't eat because I'm allergic to peanuts.

Actually, according to the label, I shouldn't eat Heath for that reason, because it has the peanut warning (almost all candy bars do now due to fear of lawsuits). I appreciate the concern, but when it's something I've eaten forever, it is a bit annoying. The last time I checked my grocery store, ALL the granola bar brands had the warning. Can't they isolate the production areas? What about the children???

OK, rant over.

22. Anything the Swiss, German and Belgians crank out.
There are times when I look at the Ritter Sport chocolate bar rack at Rodman's and want to cry. I also have fond memories of the Milka chocolate bars (the ones wrapped in those lavender papers) and many other decadent treats from the continent of Europe. I'm still trying to figure out why the young Germans were so skinny.

34. Butterfinger - but I stopped buying them because they are owned by Nestle
And Nestle is a terribly, terribly evil company. haven't bought Nestle since 1980, except under duress. I was so sad the day they bought the company that made Butterfingers. man, good candy bars.

Up there with Wal-Mart and beyond.

Evil, bad company.

And that's just for starters.

Pay attention to the true entirety of their product line. Big company.

35. Goldenberg's Peanut Chews
Edited on Tue Aug-12-03 09:01 PM by stilpist
Made in Philly. I remember them from growing up in Easton, Pa. Hadn't seen them in years and recently discovered that CVS Pharmacies in Mass have bags of bite-sized ones.

Yummmm! Dark chocolate over chewy stuff loaded with peanuts. Hold on to your fillings!
