I felt the same exact way as you when I had to work days. I hated it. Had a reputation at my B&M jobs as being a raving psychobitch because of it.

The one thing I did like about them was my excuse to sleep longer hours when I went home. But living alone now in a quiet apartment building gives me the opportunity to do so.

5. I work a similar shift. You get used to it........after about 2 years

I've been working nights for 2.5 years. I much prefer 2nd shift. That's when I feel my best and seem to get enough rest. But it just ain't happening unless I want to work at a convenience store.
