1. Mr. Macho with a "off road tough guy machine" is worried about some hail marks?
Frankly, I would call him a wimp and laugh at him if I were you. Don't take that shit! What does he think it is, a BMW? Geeze. Has he ever gotten it muddy without crying? Don't take that shit.

7. A '95 Jeep Liberty?
Maybe 2005? Sorry, car geek. Can't help it.

Hope your ride isn't damaged.

18. I know some KJ owners who do go off road and..
... would certainly freak out if their KJ got hail damage. Mud is one thing, it generally doesn't put great big dents in your bonnet.

Plus Jeep make a number of their vehicles in 2wd format, so off-roading is not really an option for these vehicles - and as such these owners generally want them to look nice.

9. If it were me I'd go out and move it into the garage.
No sense leaving it to get (more) damaged if it's not already.

At the very least your husband should go move it if he's worried about it and you're not. In my world you lose the right to bitch if you're unwilling to do anything to solve the problem.

13. Oh, I gotcha.
I didn't get the yardsale reference in the first post. Hence the trouble understanding the lack of action! :)

That is rather craptacular luck. Hope it clears in time for your sale.

21. I hate my cars.
Damage that doesn't affect their functionality makes me laugh.

Our two oldest cars are 25 years old. Our "family car," the youngest, and the one we use the most, is eleven years old.

Our cars have lots of character. If they ever got smacked by big hail and the windows didn't break I probably wouldn't notice.

It's an extra benefit that our teenagers won't drive our cars if they can avoid it.
