I think I was thinking that the way sharks breathe require them to staeady keep moving. ...and she killed one out of sport.

9. Almost as cool as Phillipe Cousteau swimming (and holding) a great white.

I wish I could find it, but Cousteau was studying great whites, and they swam with one minus the cage. At one point the shark swam underneath one of the divers, and the diver grabbed it's dorsal fin and the shark pulled him along through the water, not bothered at all. It was amazing footage, and shows how misunderstood they are. The shark wasn't aggressive in the slightest bit.

Swimming with sharks is one of two things I've always wanted to do (going to Mars is the other...both kind of longshots). I wouldn't use a cage unless it was great whites. Cousteau footage aside, I'm not taking that chance just yet. Any other sharks and I'd try it though. They've always been my favorite animal.
