Did you know that Cool Whip contains sugar, wax, and condom lube?
I just found this out and I'm sooo grossed out right now. Since I don't want to be grossed out alone, I decided to share. :D

Here are a few of its ingredients. Click the link at the bottom to read about all the them:

Polysorbate 60
Polysorbates are made by polymerizing ethylene oxide (a precursor to antifreeze) with a sugar alcohol derivative. The result can be a detergent, an emulsifier, or, in the case of polysorbate 60, a major ingredient in some sexual lubricants.

Sorbitan Monostearate
Chemists call this stuff synthetic wax, and it's sometimes used as a hemorrhoid cream. It's one of the magical substances that keep Cool Whip from turning to liquid over time in the fridge.

1. I'm not grossed out, because I won't eat that stuff
Who ever thought it was a viable substitute for whipped cream was sorely mistaken.

2. Too bad it's delicious.
But having read this, I won't eat it again. Reddi-Wip for me.

(I call Cool Whip 'plastic whipped cream.')

12. ROFL!
I do find it a little ironic that people prefer reddi whip for food kink and not cool whip considering it's the one with the lube already in it.

11. This is why I never have ice cream
Did you know that many conventional and commercial brands of ice cream contain car antifreeze solution? Propylene glycol is an ingredient used in many ice creams. Propylene glycol is also used in radiator fluid (antifreeze). Propylene glycol is also used in many other so-called foods, such as cup cakes commonly found and sold at most conventional super caskets (oops, I mean, super markets).

Other additives found in ice cream include Piperonal, which is used in place of vanilla. Piperonal is a chemical used to treat lice. Diethyl glucol is a cheap chemical used as an emulsifier instead of eggs. It is used in antifreeze and paint removers. Butyraldehyde is used in nut-flavored ice cream and is one of the ingredients in rubber cement. Amyl acetate is a chemical used for banana flavor. However, it is also used as an oil paint solvent. Ethyl acetate is used for pineapple flavor. However, it is mainly used in industry as a cleaner for leather and textiles. Aldehyde C17 is a chemical used to flavor cherry ice cream but is used industrially as an inflammable liquid used in aniline dyes, plastic and rubber.

15. Well that explains why I tolerate cold weather so well!
Ice cream and I go waaaaay back. I suspect I've probably got enough anti-freeze in my system by now to keep me going at -50 degrees!

Cyanogen bromide (containing the cyanide functional group) is used to cleave the proteins expressed by E. Coli bacteria.

17. The next time that I serve fresh strawberries to company
instead of Cool Whip, I shall drape lubricated condoms over them, and then wait to see who gets this joke from the DU Lounge. This is one of the ways I learn who lurks on teh DU.
