Funny craigslist post re: unknown fruit
free cherries

I have a bunch of yellow cherries that need picked. I think they are cherries anyway. Maybe they are plums. I don't really know what they are. Yellow round things that taste kind of like a plum. They are great for making jams from. Maybe 5 gallons worth, maybe a little more.
Please email me and I will give you the address.
Also, please show up around 7:00 pm, as I work late today.
Many thanks!!

4. Trolling for gullible, careless people who will eat unknown fruit on the word of a stranger.
Somehow I'd be worried about that one.

5. It may be a monster cherry tree that escaped from Luther Burbank's mad experiments
Many, many really crappy cherry trees in Northern California that escaped from Luther Burbank's Santa Rosa experimental farm. The trees look so innocent when small but soon turn to pure evil and produce really crappy fruit that make even crappier jam only if you add tons of processed sugar to the boiling cauldron of toxic shit. I really hate Burbank's cherry trees.
