Interesting Michael Jackson YouTube, insight into his creative process:
Sorry if posted already.

MJ was sued at one point for "stealing" the "Girl Is Mine" song, he fought it in court and apparently won.

As part of his deposition, he described his process of going to a tape recorder and essentially "beat-box"-ing the various tracks to the song he was hearing in his mind.

There is no video so it works better to just put up the YouTube and let it play in the background.

1. So, Did Michael Jackson Play Any Instruments?
I mean, he gets credit for writing songs. I'm just curious what instrument(s) he wrote the songs on??? Piano, guitar...?

5. Yeah.. you could be completely "illiterate" musically but still "write" a tune if it came to you.
Even if you didn't know C sharp from B flat, you could record you singing the tune and it would be yours. More "literate" people could commit it to pen and paper.

The "beatbox" Michael is a phenomenon I never heard.. kind of sad.. he could have held his own with any rap group from the 80s or 90s, would have been cool if there were examples of him doing his beat box thing in a different genre of music.

6. The guy asking him questions should have been ordered crotch-kicked by the bailif for being stupid.
Seriously, what a fucking moron.

Anyway, a very interesting look into his creative process - pretty cool!
