on appreciation/vibe posts

I just want to say to all of the people who post these or are subjects of them, consider it done. I rarely reply to them for a number of personal reasons but I also don't want you to think I don't feel for you, your family or friend, pet, or that I don't like you or whatever. I do, its just that most of the time I don't know what to say. The little hug smiley doesn't quite do it for me, when it's so personal, you know?

Just me - not a comment or criticism of anybody else.

I mean for me, I would actually pray for the person since I pray everyday and geez, I don't want someone jumping on me because I happen to use prayer for my 'good vibes'.

But I do care, just in a silent way.

I feel the same. Although I've posted in many and my heart is there...it's often difficult.
I've been in tears a lot...too much. Sometimes to the point of not posting with the intent of going back later.
Sad and tragic events affect me so personally....I have walked in almost everyone's shoes...I know how they feel.
Most of the time my words don't seem to suffice...
My heart has ached for many here...
Nobody knows but me...

13. Kali, I try to post on as many vibe threads as possible

although sometimes there are just too many and they take an emotional toll.

I appreciate everyone in the Lounge, but I don't partake in appreciation threads. While I know a few are done to cheer up someone that is down, I think they just strike me as too much of a popularity contest. So I just don't do them, even for posters I think are wonderful.
