Will TLC change the name of its drama-filled show from "Jon & Kate Plus 8" to "Jon & Kate Plus 9"?

In light of the Gosselins' divorce announcement on Monday night (watched by a record 10.6 million viewers), no, they won't be having any more children, thanks. However, a carefully placed source tells us that Jon's reported girlfriend, 23-year-old Deanna Hummel, is expected to join the show next season

They don't know Deanna will be a part of the show. They have not planned out what the family's reality will be yet. :ROFL:

I have no doubt Jon strayed, but then maybe Kate did too and I have to feel sorry for him now. Kate is out to destroy him and make herself look like the only one that is concerned with her children's welfare. She is angry at him big time and is hinting that he did something this weekend that made her file the divorce papers on Monday. Supposedly, he spent the weekend alone with the kids (no nannies) and there were no other people present at the house. Aaden did hit his head and I wonder if she is now going to charge Jon with being responsible for this or if it is something else.

Divorce is nasty and I know that from experience, but I would hope for the kids sake they would keep it to a minimum, especially since they have the world for a stage. I can't help but think of the kids crying when Jon leaves because they want to go with him. I never saw my children cry after their father when he left. They seemed more uneasy when he was home.
