I have to go to the Doctor next week to talk about my foot injury. Am keeping a diary of pain/sympt
it seems that the doctors all want to do x-rays and then try braces and other junk for a period of time then finally they listen and do surgery

always they find an issue that explains why I have pain or clicking or why it feels as if my foot is splitting in two

I do not want surgery ... I should say more surgery...

but I want to be taken seriously

I am going to start tomorrow

detail every snap, pop, click pain...

do you think that will help them take me more seriously

1. As long as you don't ask him to try to get it published.

2. It can't hurt,
but make sure you record exactly WHERE the pain is - use a picture, with arrows. That'll be a great help.

But, once you're into Orthopedic Hell, you're there, and it sometimes takes a long time to get out.

Good luck..............

4. good idea about diagrams
I know about orthopedic Hell, Have been in it since 1994

they said what they did in 94-96 would last about 10 years....well it has been more than 10 so I guess I have been somewhat lucky...if you could call it that

I just am really hesitant to start the whole process over...but I have to

Hubby and I took a 30 minute walk last night and I am still paying for it today
