I think they should have a split screen and show Kate going to the super market with a stretch baby stroller trying to keep track of her kids while they throw produce at each other and have Jon in the other screen banging hot waitresses that he picks up at college bars.

OK... let's be cynical and forget that real humans (e.g. the kids) are involved. They could milk a season and a half out of "working on their marriage".

Episode 1 - John & Kate & the 8 get a visit from Dr. Phil

Episode 2 - Jon & Kate worry about their kids while off at a Marriage Encounter retreat

Episode 3 - JonKat, as they are now known, take their kids to Houston and attend services at Joel Osteen's mega church

Episode 4 - Bill Cosby stops in to entertain the kids and explain to JonKat that marriage is hard, but really, really funny the way he tells it.

Episode 5 - A very special JonKat family as Oprah Winfrey comes to discuss the progress of the reconcilliation

Episode 6 - Kate goes on the view, while Jon goes on ESPNs Mike & Mike in the morning
