we've had to make trips to urgent care and the vet in the last 24 hours
that sucking sound you here is coming from our bank accounts.

my guy pulled something in his shoulder and the spasms were so bad all he could do is cry from the pain, which was my clue that we needed to get him to the clinic.

my little puppy kitty mira bolted outside friday night and got into a skirmish with ,i assume, the big male in the neighborhood. he chomped down on one of the back feet and she hasn't been able to move around much since. her foot was so swollen and she was favoring it so much that i was worried about her pain and, although i set some water next to the nest she made, i was worried about her getting dehydrated.

both of them are curled up and i hope they get to feeling better soon. i hate feeling so helpless to make them feel better. we couldn't really afford to make the trips, but that's a small worry compared to my worry for their well being.

and here's the obligatory kitty picture

1. My dear fizzgig...
Oh, sweetie...it never rains but it pours, huh?

Hope all of the injuries spontaneously heal...at minimal cost to everyone involved!
