Happy Father's Day, DU dads

I have two dads- my father and my step-father. I am a good person today thanks to what my two dads taught me about being a man. I learned when they were trying to teach me something and I learned when they weren't. Their example was every bit as important as when they were consciously trying to show me something.

Thanks to my dads, I was equipped with the perseverance and strength to get through the hardest part of my life to date- ten years of untreated mental illness. Their kindness also helped me get through that period of time. Their doors were always open when I needed a place to stay. Thanks to the qualities that they created in me, I am now a whole person and a productive member of society; no longer a fragmented individual in a constant state of pain. I have the ability to get what I need in life and the courage to go after what I want. I am happy now.

My dads are proud of me and I am proud of them. Happy Father's Day.

I've finally got my condo the way I want it. Work is going good- I actually like my job now (we'll see what I have to say about it in January, lol!). I've got a little cash in the bank and I'm looking into investing in property. Not the high priced stuff, but small places here and there that need work. The only thing that could make me happier right now is having a partner, and there is a woman that I'm talking to right now. I don't know if that's going to go anywhere, but it might.
