4. My dear Debi!
Well, it's my husband's birthday, so today I asked him what he wanted...

He wanted filet mignon steaks, so he'll get 'em! Also asparagus, and either new potatoes or rice...

Thanks for filling the gap, sweetie!

9. turkey noodle soup, salad
it was a beautiful cool day here so I'm going to go ahead and make hot soup and homemade French rolls. We grilled most of the turkey on Wednesday, but I roasted half the breast, the neck and the back so I have some carcass for broth.

23. lots of crunchy spicy batter
Cajun style food. Chicken & popcorn shrimp & I think maybe fish too. Everything is full of fat, mains, sides, biscuits (especially). Oddly enough my cat Felix adores Popeye's, spices and all. But for a tasty last meal, I recommend it.

my partner has been sick so not a lot of cooking going on. We live in the Seattle area so a lot of amazing Vietnamese places to eat.

A dish we do cook is: Vietnamese Grilled Pork Chops
