What would you do in this situation?

So I was supposed to go down south and spend two nights with my "friend" Rebe.

I rolled into Santa Barbara at 6:45 after 9 hours in the car. I'd had three hours of sleep the previous night. Rebe's staying with our mutual friend Shannon for a while, and they weren't there. I sat out on the lawn in front of Shannon's house for about an hour and a half, then I decided they might be at Elsie's bar, so I went down there, and I was pretty pissed when I walked in the door. I really just wanted to go to bed, and instead I had to go looking for them. Shannon came in about a half hour later, and she had no idea where Rebe was. Rebe wandered in around 9:15, and she said her mom was coming into town the next day so if we were going to go party it was going to have to be that night. Long story short, I didn't get to sleep until around 3.

I was pretty pissed at Rebe for not leaving a note, or at the very least e-mailing me about where and when she could be found.

The next day Rebe had some stuff to do, so I goofed off on the internet, and at noon I went and got tacos with Shannon, then went up to the botanic gardens, and spend about an hour goofing off on the internet while waiting for Rebe at Shannon's house. At 3:30 we went and picked up Rebe's mom, then Rebe had to get a hard drive from school, so we did that. At 5:30 Rebe announced we had to go to a barbecue later, but she wasn't feeling well and wasn't interested in going to that or having any dinner. I talked her and her mom into eating dinner, then we went back to Shannon's and Rebe took a nap while I goofed off on the internet. Then at around 8:30, Rebe announced that I needed to go over to this other dude's house to hang out with Shannon, or something. I went over there and made awkward small talk for about 20 minutes with whatsisname and Shannon (who didn't want to go anywhere). I left there and went back to Shannon's house, and Rebe and her mom were NOT there, there was NO note, and the door was locked.

What would you do?

I didn't think this sort of thing happened in the cell phone age.

On a side note your friend Rebe doesn't seem like much of a host.

6. huh, well then I would be sorely tempted to just go home

or find a good motel/hotel if I was too tired. Then I think I would follow the suggestion below this one.

13. I would try to get more sleep

and hang out with people who get more sleep. Your friends sound rather irritable and grumpy.
Were they enthusistic about your visit when you made the plans?
