I just watched Speed Racer on HD and I really enjoyed the movie...

Sure it was cheesy, but the way it was presented was like watching a graphic novel...

It was really entertaining.

I just got it a few days ago and I'm watching things I wouldn;t normally watch simply because the picture is so good.

4. I was rather impressed myself...

Especially how the fight scene really had the feel of the old cartoon, music and all. It actually took me back to when I was five or six and would watch Speed Racer every day after school, sitting in a flipped-over ottoman and pretending it was the Mach 5.

5. It's a surprisingly good movie

I avoided renting the DVD till my nephew suggested I see it. He said it was better than you'd expect and he was right.
