Why is belly button lint always blue?
It's never red or purple or orange?

10. Because a large vein--the "meridian mezzo"--runs directly beneath
most peoples' navels. Carrying deoxygenated blood (bluish) from the lower abdominal cavity, the region is still largely made up of the semi-permeable membrane that is the umbilical cord. While the gas transfer is obviously not what it was while we were in utero,it is still the most permeable region of the human body. And although logic dictates that it might turn reddish upon exposure to air and drying, the same oglyocyte proteins that keep the fetus from being overwelmed by iron levels that could lead to ferrotoxicity are usually still in play in most adults, resulting the the decidedly bluish cast to lesions and scar tissue that form the area.

14. Because you are color blind?
Other than that, either you wear primarily blue clothing, or someone is stacking the deck when your attention is diverted, Because my lint is rarely blue.

16. This reminds me of a show I watched. This woman made art from
lint. All her neighbors would bring their lint over (from their laundry). Gross kind of. But anyway, the more colorful, the better. A weird hobby indeed, but she was talented as hell.
